Daily Dozen

We are back from our whirlwind wedding weekend and it was AWESOME! We all had a great time and I thought I'd tell you all of my favorite things from the start all the way to the finish...and I don't just have a top 5 or top 10...I have a top 12 for each day! Ha ha! So enjoy my daily dozens!

Thursday
1. Arriving safely in Sandestin, FL around 10 AM - we checked into the "penthouse" floor of the Hilton, ha ha! We were told it was "top shelf!"
2. Opening presents with Aunt Kelly and "Uncle" Matt.
3. Eating cookies with Aunt Kelly and "Uncle" Matt.
4. Heading to lunch at my favorite pool/beach side restaurant: Finz.
5. Swimming with Mommy in the "Big Al" pool.
6. Napping in the hotel bunk beds.
7. Helping Mommy set up the bouncy house and presents for the big Cousins Slumber Party.
8. Snuggling in the afternoon with Papa Doc!
9. Getting lots of love from Aunt Robyn!
10. The big SLUMBER PARTY!!!!!
11. Slumber party activities: jumping, playing, tickle contests, Thomas the Train, new shirts, new toys, coloring cups, pool pizza party, swimming, beach pictures, Kilwin's, chalk drawing, sleeping!
12. Having an "I love you" contest in the bottom bunk with Carter while Logan was laughing in the top bunk!





Friday
1. Waking up to snuggle in the big bed with Aunt Robyn and Mommy.
2. Tickling Carter until he woke up.
3. Sharing a donut breakfast outside by the beach with Carter, Logan, Aunt Robyn and Mommy! (Did you see that dolphin too? Ha!)
4. Sunbathing and playing on the beach with Mommy for a couple of hours in the morning!
5. Getting to see Gramercy and Papa Doc's finished house - BEAUTIFUL! We love love love it guys!
6. Hanging out with all of the "Wallaces" sitting around Gramercy and Papa Doc's dining room table.
7. Going to lunch with Aunt Kimberly, Gramercy and Mommy.
8. Aunt Kimberly and jelly beans...and more jelly beans...and more jelly beans!
9. Napping again in the bunk beds.
10. Swimming at the big Hilton pool with Mommy while Daddy was driving into town.
11. Dinner, Kilwin's and water fountain fun time with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Kimberly, Uncle Jeff, Carter and Logan.
12. Watching fireworks on the beach with Mommy, Aunt Robyn, Aunt Kelly, Elizabeth, Julie, Dawn and Meredith!!!!





Saturday
1. Waking up and snuggling with Mommy and Daddy in the big bed.
2. Hanging out with Daddy while Mommy ran super early errands with Aunt Robyn.
3. Getting dressed in my new flower shoes!
4. Headed with Mommy to Gramercy's House Warming Brunch with her friends!
5. Waking up from nap time to get dressed for the wedding rehearsal!
6. Wearing my beautiful "A" dress from Ms. Kim D - love it!
7. The rehearsal: on one of the Hilton decks on the beach. Perfect. Although I was a bit shy as the Flower Girl!
8. Hanging out with Daddy, Carter, Logan and gummy bears after the rehearsal.
9. The rehearsal dinner - YUMMY!
10. Did you know that Flower Girls get lots of presents from the Bride and Groom to Be? I loved my bag, bracelets and picture frame!
11. The beach bonfire: smores (first time smore maker - loved it; meeting friends; hanging out with Ms. Mary Frances and Mommy; playing in the sand)
12. Getting a great night's sleep in the bunk beds before the big day!






Sunday
1. Waking up and going out on the balcony to look at the beautiful beaches of Sandestin - and telling everyone outside (at the top of my lungs) that "Today is Aunt Kelly's wedding!"
2. Getting dressed for the Bridesmaids day at the spa - me in my Flower Girl shirt and Mommy in her Bridesmaid shirt.
3. Going to Serenity by the Sea for the morning....did you know there was fruit, coffee cake and bubbling hot tubs??? I hung out for an hour or so even though Mommy was staying all day.
4. Seeing the Bride to be in her funny veil hat! Ha ha!
5. Getting a pedicure in the big vibrating spa chair - loved it!
6. Hanging out at lunch with Daddy and Papa Doc - Whataburger, of course, ha!
7. Waking up from my nap to see Mommy back in the hotel room and ready to get dressed in our formals. I loved my Flower Girl dress....such a pretty princess dress! And Daddy said the two of us looked gorgeous!
8. Pictures before the ceremony...and playing in the Cobia Room before the ceremony.
9. THE WEDDING....so lovely. After watching Molly drag Logan down the aisle and then Carter getting stage fright, I finally walked down the aisle and stood with Mommy...until I screamed "I have to tinkle" and went to sit with Daddy, ha!
10. THE RECEPTION...good food (I ate over 20 shrimp! Yowzers!), good music (So much fun! and you should have seen Aunt Kelly and Papa Doc's dance - love it!), lots of dancing. I was on the dance floor from about 7:30 to 10:30 (honestly). I had a blast and didn't want to leave but was getting super sleepy! I danced with Mommy, Daddy, Gramercy, Papa Doc, Aunt Kimberly, Aunt Kelly, Aunt Robyn, Carter, Logan and even the D.J., ha!
11. Saying goodnight to MRS. MARLOW and her HUSBAND!
12. Realizing I no longer have to put quotes around the phrase Uncle Matt!!!









Monday
1. Sleeping in late!!! Woo hoo!!!!!
2. Getting showered and dressed in another pretty dress.
3. Going to the Post Wedding Brunch hosted by Gramercy and Papa Doc....so much food - yummy!!!
4. Drinking 7 (yes, 7) glasses of orange juice that Cousin Logan poured for me, ha!
5. Seeing the big "hat" presentation - and if you don't know what that means, you've never been to a "Wallace" wedding, ha!
6. Heading back to our room to pack up our bags...we checked out of the hotel and into 1236 Deerwood (G & PD's new digs) for the night!
7. Sending Daddy off to the golf course to play a round with Uncle Jeff.
8. Swimming in the Owner's Club pool with Mommy...and my new swim toys (and goggles - yea!) from Aunt Robyn. I dive down to pick up sticks, rings, sharks, etc. I love swimming!!!!
9. Napping in the "stinky chair" room, ha!
10. Kissing Daddy goodbye before he headed back home...he was the best wedding day date ever!
11. Going to Baytowne Wharf for dinner and a magic show with Mommy, Aunt Kimberly, Uncle Jeff, Logan and Carter....pizza, jelly beans, playground, etc!
12. Slumber party at Gramercy and Papa Docs!



Tuesday
1. Hearing Mommy say goodbye to Aunt Robyn at 4 AM! Yowzers! (She made is back to Colorado safely, yea!)
2. Hearing Mommy say goodbye to Aunt Kelly and Uncle Matt at 6 AM! Yowezers! (They made it to Orlando for Part I of the Honeymoon - Walt Disney World...Part II - the cruise - starts on Saturday and goes for a whole week! Have fun!!!!)
3. Playing outside in Gramercy and Papa Doc's backyard with Mommy and LC while everyone else was asleep!
4. Playing with Gramercy while Mommy packed up.
5. Breakfast at Another Broken Egg (Bayside) with Mommy, Gramercy, Papa Doc, Aunt Kimberly, Uncle Jeff, Logan and Carter.
6. More presents!!!! Thanks Gramercy!
7. Swimming with the family at the pool...fun fun fun...did I mention I love swimming?
8. Saying goodbye to the Phillips family - they are staying in Sandestin for another week but we were going to be leaving...but we'll see them again in a couple of months!
9. Heading back to Papa Doc and Gramercy's house for nap time...again with the stinky chair, ha!
10. Tuna sandwhich lunch!
11. Packing up the 4Runner - my job was to make sure we had my blue "Kelly and Matt" sand bucket and shovel - one of our weekend favors that never left my side!
12. Saying goodbye to Gramercy and Papa Doc and heading with Mommy to the start of our next vacation: a couple of days with the Miller family (Crispy, Dan and Taylor Frances) in Panama City Beach, FL.



It was just such a fun fun fun weekend...a lot of planning went into the weekend and it was just perfect. Aunt Kelly and Aunt Matt had a great wedding and we are all so happy for them! Congrats to the newleyweds! And a special thanks to everyone that helped me, Mommy and Daddy have such a great time! Love, hugs and kisses to everyone!!!!!!!
