Note from Mommy and Daddy:
Today is a very bittersweet day in our family; Meemaw passed away. Known to us as "Meemaw", she was Eric's maternal grandmother. Her life was full and complete with love, laughter, friendship and family. Eric has many wonderful memories of time spent at his grandmother's home, beach trips, Reeses and much more. Barbara met Meemaw in 2002 and fell in love right away. She fell ill a few years ago, but we were lucky to have her in good health with us for our wedding, the birth of our daughter and all of the other life moments that now are such precious memories. To watch her with Abby was wonderful - Abby brought a smile to her face and Abby never went without getting candy, cookies, hugs, kisses and love from her Meemaw. Only nineteen days shy of her 90th birthday, her Father called her home and she went peacefully. We are sad to have this loss in our lives, but we know that she is no longer in any physical pain or suffering. Please pray for comfort for her children (Angie, Ronald and Rickey) as well as the other family members and friends that are grieving during this time.
She is, was and will always be our Rose Queen.
