Gooooo Wildcats!
Last night was Homecoming for Daddy's old school - Enterprise High School! Mommy and Daddy go to Homecoming every year, and I've gone for the last two, but this year was even more special for a couple of reasons - (1) it was Daddy's 15th year reunion and (2) some of our best buds joined us for the night! Daddy came home from work early and we got all dressed up in our navy blue and headed to the traditional Homecoming meal at Cutts - yummy! When we got there, we joined Claire Isabelle (with Ms. Katherine - who also went to school with Daddy - and Mr. Bill) and Ian (with Ms. Sha). After dinner we all headed over to Bates Memorial Stadium (a.k.a. THE HOLE) for what will probably be the last homecoming game there. Remember a couple of years ago how a big tornado hit the high school? Well, the new high school is being built somewhere else and they will be getting a new stadium too. We will miss the hole...it's super fun to go to a game there! And last night was definitely F-U-N! We even started practicing tackles in the parking field before we got into the stadium! Ian and Claire Isabelle are so funny! The 8 of us watched some football, laughed, ate, took pictures, cheered and just had a blast! Everyone got ready to leave after halftime but I asked Daddy if we could stay a bit longer...so we did. And what a game it was! Enterprise wone 35-14....gooooo wildcats! What a great night!
