For those of you that live under a rock (ha!) you may not know that my Daddy went to THE University....University of Alabama that is! And he and Mommy are big Roll Tide fans! We love love love football Saturdays in the south when you turn on CBS and see lots of SEC victorious teams - especially those Bama boys! They ended the season 12-0, ran over Flor
ida (32-13) to become the SEC Champions and then headed out West to California to play in the BCS National Championship game against Number 2, the University of Texas. Although the night started out a bit sketchy for our team (and we left the room where Daddy was sitting because Mommy said it would be better for us to watch it somewhere else - ha!), before long we heard Daddy's trademark football yell "He's gone....he's gone!" With that, I had to run down to find out what was going on...and grab my pom poms! I actually got to stay up a little later than bedtime to keep watching the game, but I just couldn't keep my eyes open for the entire show...but I think you all know what happened! A final score of 37-21....ALABAMA WON!!!!!!!!! National Champions! And if you ask me what that means, I will (honestly) reply "That means that they beat everybody and Alabama is number one." (It's really cute Mommy says!) So....congrats to a flawless 14-0 season, a 13th National Championship, and one heck of some great football season memories for the Wade house! RRRRROOOOOLLLLLLL TTTTTIIIIDDDDDEEEEEEE!!!!!
